Kirinya Jinja SSS FC will host Mbarara City as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League enters the third phase on Tuesday.

In that line, the media had a chat with the head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko. Here is some excerpt from the interview:

On the last game

We committed some errors in the previous games and they cost us the three points, we also lacked concentration in the first and the final third. The team has been working to improve on that.

On Mbarara City game

We are going to play a team that has been doing very well and has surprised many this season. They are not third on the table by chance but through hard work. They play well and pass the ball too fast. Their set up and style of play isn’t very different to us. We all use very young players who are very fast but we are set for them.

Game approach

We have been rectifying our mistakes. As I said, they play well and are fast. Both sides are coming from a loss and will want to bounce back. It will be a competitive game but we have our plan on how to overcome them tomorrow. We can’t really reveal how we shall approach the game but we have something in store for them.

Injury update

We don’t have any more injuries in the team and happy to announce that my midfielder Godfrey Akol is back after a long injury layoff.
